The questions every recruitment desk asks before switching systems.

Questions

Before you ask.

Your agency is the responsible party for the candidate data you load, and ScoutX acts as your operator. The platform records consent per candidate, lets you download a candidate's full record, erases a candidate on request, and purges withdrawn and long-inactive profiles on a retention schedule. AI features send text to Anthropic's API for processing, and under Anthropic's commercial API terms that content is not used to train its models. Our Privacy Policy sets out the details, including what we keep after erasure. It is a draft pending review by a South African attorney, so we are happy to walk through specifics on a call.

Most desks are running with their own data within a day — upload existing CVs and job specs, and ScoutX's AI intake structures them automatically. No migration project required.

ScoutX generates a requirement weighting from the job brief, then scores each candidate against it — skills, experience, location, salary fit, and more. Every score can be opened to see the exact breakdown behind it.

No. The Client Portal shows a simplified fit indicator only — your internal scoring breakdown, notes, and pipeline stay private to your desk.

ScoutX is in active early-access pilots with recruitment desks in South Africa. We're deliberately keeping the group small while we validate the workflow with real recruiters before opening up further.

Built by a founder validating directly with working recruiters — if you're an agency willing to pilot early, we'd genuinely like to hear from you.
